The great Eduardo De Filippo he described with these words, humble and heartfelt, the love for his son, Luca De Filippo, who died prematurely on November 27th, leaving his audience speechless and the Neapolitan and Italian theaters, who loved his works and his skill so much. With Luca De Filippo a huge part of Neapolitan theatrical tradition has gone away, but if the De Filippo had not been there, our culture and our art would have been deprived of a fundamental contribution. Without the De Filippo, perhaps, the Neapolitan theater, as we know and understand it, would never have existed.
But the theater must go on, as Luca himself was able to show us years ago, when his father Eduardo died while he was acting in the theater. He ended the show because he knew his father would do so. The show must go on, without interruption.

The truth
A magical and surprising show exclusively at the Bellini Theater signed by the creative genius Daniele Finzi Pasca who gives the public a performance full of acrobatics, dance, music and theater. 13 artists, gathered around Salvador Dalí's gigantic painting, tell emotions through hands, shadows, bodies and colors.

Autonomous Dignity of Prostitution
The most overwhelming and “scandalous” show of recent years returns to the Bellini Theater in a “Christmas, for turn the theater back into a brothel, in a real "closed house of art" completely enveloped in a red and soft light, where actors in dressing gowns, like prostitutes, lure and let themselves be approached by the spectators, the "customers", who will have to negotiate the price of single performances, the so-called theatrical "pleasure pills": classic and contemporary monologues.

The most famous Greek tragedy in the world is staged at the Mercadante Theater, the only trilogy that has survived to the present day, represented entirely through the two parts Agamannone e Libation Bearers / Eumenides. The director Luca De Fusco has created a majestic and contemporary staging to tell the whole story of the murder of Agamemnon by his wife Clytemnestra, the revenge of their son Orestes who kills his mother, the persecution of the matricide by the Erinyes and the his final acquittal by the Areopagus tribunal.

The famous opera by Georges Bizet will be staged at the Massimo Partenopeo to inaugurate the opera and ballet season.
