Many will remember of the Antica Pizzeria Brandi, a very famous historical place in the city, where according to tradition, in 1899 the Margherita pizza was invented.

In fact, in the old pizzeria located uphill Sant'Anna di Palazzo a Chiaia, there is a plaque commemorating the 100 years since the creation of the first margherita pizza in the restaurant.

To date one unpleasant episode hits the historic pizzeria. In fact, according to what was learned from the sources, after a careful inspection, Nas and Asl close the restaurant.

The reason for the closure

In particular, the authorities had arrived on the spot last August and after an inspection they had found sanitation deficiencies, therefore, they had imposed prescriptions, which, however, the pizzeria would not have respected to date.

As a result, the restaurant would have been forced to close and through the social channels, the pizzeria published a message, which was then translated into many languages, including Arabic and Chinese, with which it announces the closure for two days for "extraordinary maintenance".

Inside, it is taking steps to regularize everything, according to the directives of Nas and Asl, in order to be able to leave as soon as possible.

When will Pizzeria Brandi reopen?

It must be said that defaults they didn't have to be particularly serious, given that the pizzeria itself has declared that two days of closure will be enough to remedy this.

Therefore, the restaurant should reopen on Saturday 22 October unless there is any inconvenience of the last hour.

A bitter taste remains in the mouth, if it was so simple to solve the defaults, from August to October there was certainly plenty of time to do it.
