Il Castel dell'Ovo in Naples has been temporarily closed from February 12, 2022 due to a fault in the electrical system, but at the moment there is no information on the reopening date.
In fact, the notice of the Municipality of Naples announces only the closure, citing the cause, but the date of the reopening of the Castle is currently to be destined.
The intervention of the technicians
Has been urgent intervention by the Municipality's technicians was required which should arrive soon.
Since it appears to be an intervention quite serious, it was not possible to solve it in a few hours, so just in the weekend in which there was this damage, many tourists and citizens suddenly found their doors locked.
The situation is also being affected by the Regional Councilor of Green Europe, Francesco Emilio Borrelli, and the councilors of the First Municipality Gianni Caselli and Lorenzo Pascucci.
