The traditional infiorata of Cusano Mutri returns to decorate the alleys of the village with paintings made of petals and plants
Sunday June 3 2018 reaches its 23rd edition theInfiorata of Cusano Mutri, in Benevento, which brings the scents of flowers and colors to the streets of the characteristic village. The appointment falls as always on the day of Corpus Christi during which a procession will also be held.
The characteristic village will transform the floors of streets and squares into real paintings depicting sacred images, reproducing works of famous artists or original creative proposals from the infioratori masters. Carpets of flowers will welcome the public for this day of celebration that will end at 18.30 with the Holy Mass and the procession between the streets of the town.
Already from Saturday evening 2 June, and throughout the night, the artists will work among the alleys and squares of the country to make the drawings that will be the basis of the real flower display that instead will take place the next morning starting from 6.00. The festival is extremely felt by the Cusanese community and calls for real gatherings infioratory masters for the occasion.
