On the occasion of the 2018 International Jazz Day, in Pozzuoli music is celebrated with street music and concerts in the historic center of the city
Also this year theInternational Jazz Day raggiunge Pozzuoli in the days established by UNESCO to celebrate "the virtues of jazz as an educational tool, a force for peace, unity, dialogue and strong cooperation between people". The events dedicated to this musical genre will take place in Pozzuoli the 30 April and the 1 May 2018 and will take place in the historic center of the city.
On April 30th the day is of street music: jazz, blues and folk bands will perform in the streets of the city throughout the afternoon and from 22.00 there will be a Jam session at the Maison Toledo. For the 1st of May the performances will move from 17.00 to Piazza della Repubblica at the Harmonic Box, with non-stop performances which will last until late in the evening and in which different jazz bands will alternate. From 22.00 the event will move to Groove, where the Jam Session will be held.
Two very intense days all dedicated to a genre that has made the history of music and which will bring jazz into the squares and alleys of the historical center of Pozzuoli.
