The Lemon Day will take place in Cetara to celebrate the lemon through tastings and shows!
THE1 and 2 September 2016 will be held on Lemon day in Cetarain Amalfi Coast, an opportunity to discover dishes cooked with this citrus fruit and participate in different types of events.
On Thursday at 19:00 in Piazza Europa there will be the debate "Lo sfusato amalfitano Igp Costa d'Amalfi yesterday and today" during which we will talk about the cultivation of lemon and its beneficial properties. At the end, one will be served limon granitaand to all those present.
Friday 2 September at 19: 00 there will be the big party in Largo Marina di Cetara. You taste dishes based on lemons, typical local products, many fresh lemon slushes and the delicious limoncello. There will also be the parade in period costumes by the tromboners of S. Anna Scarico, at the end of which you can watch them fireworks display.
A will be provided Lemon tour to visit the lemon terraces by the Cetara Youth Forum. On the streets of the villages you will find artists of various kinds, lots of traditional music, dances and folklore to celebrate the excellence product of the Amalfi Coast. At your disposal a free shuttle service and the availability of parking in Cetara.
