In Varcaturo, some large beaches on the coast have closed and suspended their activities on the beach.

ATTENTION: the activities resumed from 30 April 2021

Lido Varca d'Oro and Lido Gallo di Varcaturo, in the province of Naples, they closed and suspended their activities from March 3, 2021 considering that Campania is currently in the orange zone and will only reopen when the Region passes back to yellow zone.

Lido Varca d'Oro, with a post on its Facebook page, announces also the closing of its Livingston Café and Restaurant.

As we read in the notice, even if the law provides free access to the beach for residents and also the possibility of carrying out the takeaway, the structure has decided to totally suspend their activities, including such access.

As mentioned, again from the official communication of the other big on the coast, the Lido Gallo from today 3 March has closed its doors. The Foliage, on the other hand, it had already closed since the beginning of the orange zone.

Closing of the beaches in Campania

Presumably the other shores in Campania will also remain closed, but the peculiarity of Lido Varca d'Oro is that it has also closed free access to the beach.

For the moment there is still no official news on the other closures, but they could happen soon considering that Campania could also become a red zone.
