The events of M'Illumino d'Inverno 2017/2018 in Sorrento with a rich program of free events for Christmas with concerts, circus performances, dance and musicals!
Also this year a Sorrento The long program will be organized for Christmas with events for the review I light up in winter, which will take off the 25 November 2017 to end the 27 January 2018. It will be two months full of concerts, shows, dance, circus performances, art and tradition with the general artistic direction of the director and choreographer Mvula Sungani.
The total appointments will be 15 e the kermesse will be officially ended in March with a special show. The locations will be the most evocative places in Sorrento, namely the Tasso Theater, the Armida Theater, the Cathedral, the Church of the Annunziata, the streets and squares of the town. Also, on December 2nd and 3rd there will be an absolute preview of the new album by James Senese celebrating the 50 years of career.
The purpose of M'illumino di Inverno is to bring tourists to Sorrento also in the winter period and to transform the town into a cultural salon enriched this year by a new format: each concert and show will be preceded by a 'very confidential and convivial interview to which the public can participate.

Opening with Ara Malikian. The Armenian-Lebanese prodigy violinist will cheer us up with his string ensemble that join the rock tradition. His repertoire mixes folk, oriental music, gipsy, Latin-American flamenco in Cuban style, without neglecting classic-baroque incursions.
