Five guided tours accessible to the disabled within the Maggio dei Monumenti 2015, to ensure that the event is accessible to all!

Il May of the 2015 Monuments has started and, like every year, does not disappoint with its own rich program of events, shows, visits, numerous art exhibitions and the many other initiatives, such as those dedicated to Stairs of Naples, which will lead us to the discovery of places, monuments, churches, palaces and streets among the most beautiful in Naples.

An edition, that of this year, which in addition to enhance our artistic and cultural heritage, also pays tribute to a great artist such as Pino Daniele, dedicating him four special itineraries in collaboration with the “Rock!” exhibition, discovering Naples by "A thousand cultures" sung by the bluesman.
And the colors will be a fundamental component of the May of 2015 Monuments, divided into five weeks each marked by a color diverse and from related events.

Events that, like every year, do not neglect those that are the needs of the disabled with motor difficulties and need ad hoc routes to visit most of the city's places.

Accessible paths

Within the program, one was thought of section dedicated to accessible routes, to make the event open to all with the chapter "CosyforYou-C4Y"(Comfortable and Easy: comfortable and easy), thanks to the collaboration of the Peepul association and the non-profit organization Cosyforyou.

They have been designed five guided tours, one for each week of the event, facilitated by the temporary supports made available by the association itself and accessible, in some cases, also to sensory disabled.

Every weekend, a specific path to the discovery of churches, parks or monuments such as, for example, the Chapel and the Museum of the Treasure of San Gennaro o the one in the Mostra d'Oltremare or the suggestive itinerary dedicated to the legends that hover over the Cemetery of the Fontanelle, a symbol of the deep relationship between the Neapolitans and the world of the dead.

To find out about all the guided tours, we report below thecomplete list of accessible routes.
