The protagonist of the May of the 2017 Monuments will be Totò, the prince of laughter to whom all the events will be dedicated!
Following a meeting held at Palazzo San Giacomo, the Councilor for Culture and Tourism Nello Daniele has already announced the theme of May of the 2017 Monuments. The annual cultural event of Naples will be dedicated to the great Totò, an icon of our city, a symbol of Italian theater and cinema and considered one of the most important and talented actors in our country. The title, this year, will be 'O Maggio in Totò and the events will take place from the April 28 to the 4 June.
Of course, one of the protagonists of the festival will certainly be the Health, his neighborhood, but all Naples will participate with events, shows, meetings, conferences, visits and concerts in honor of Prince Antonio de Curtis.
Many initiatives will be addressed to young people that are fundamental for the rediscovery of his figure so that we can create an even closer link between the present and the past.
Therefore, a May of Monuments is expected to be full of events in which Totò will be remembered and appreciated even more. A month in which his mask, his jokes and his laugh will be present throughout the city and will be able to continue living in the new generations.
