Due to the bad weather temporarily closed the Garibaldi station and suspended the circulation of the 2 metro line
A little while ago a real water bomb hit the city of Naples, accompanied by a violent one wind trumpet which sent vehicular traffic haywire, causing terrible flooding and inconvenience in every neighborhood and province. The weather situation is still unstable, between strong gusts of wind alternating with heavy rains.
Metronapoli informed all citizens that the Garibaldi metro station (1 line) has been temporarily closed, as it is happening all too often in case of storms since it was opened to the public a few months ago.
At the moment the circulation is limited to the section between Piscinola and the University. Discomfort also on the Chiaiano station platform.
Railways of the state, however, communicates that too the circulation of the 2 line has been suspended due to the flooding of the Naples Piazza Garibaldi railway site.

La circulation on the entire Piscinola - Garibaldi section of line 1 of the Naples underground has been restored after reopening of the Garibaldi station.
