The Iris channel dedicates to the prince of laughter a TV marathon entitled "Totò per semper" for the 50 years since his death.
The events in Naples for the commemoration of the 50 years of Totò's death will be multiple: exhibitions, concerts, exhibitions, artistic installations and even the dedication of a special coin.
The Iris TV channel (22 channel of the digital terrestrial) fits into this rich programming transmitting the 15 April 2017 a marathon, called "Totò forever”, Of all the most iconic films of Antonio De Curtis. It will start at 9:00 with “The three thieves” and will end the schedule at 3:00 with Totò D'Arabia.
Within the programming they have not been chosen only comedy movies, although Totò is considered unanimously on a par with top-level actors such as Buster Keaton and Charlie Chaplin, but also more dramatic and mirroring films of the times, such as “Uccellini ed Uccellacci” by Pier Paolo Pasolini.
