La Sunday 12 March 2023 episode of Amici 22 saw the return, in the studio, of Maria DeFilippi, which was welcomed back with a torrent of applause by the public present at the new day time.
De Filippi, after greeting and thanking the audience, asked them to have a minute of silence, then, barely holding back tears, he has declared:

Having done this, she then kicked off, with the professionalism that distinguishes her, the new episode of Amici 22, which (as expected after the announcement arrived on Friday) was the most controversial and quarrelsome of this edition.
Amici 22, the promoted and rejected for the evening
As announced Friday March 10 2023, since there were no gold jerseys for everyone, everyone students of Amici 22 they performed again. There were no less than four rounds of dancing and singing, which unleashed quite a few bad moods and quarrels, even between the same teachers.
As for the singers and dancers, after just one heat, they were promoted and reconfirmed for the Evening Angelina, Isobel and Federica, while the best among the boys are results Wax, Aaron and Matthias.
As expected Niveo, after having barely saved himself in the last few episodes, did not get access to the Evening. Blessed Vari instead it was accepted among the professional dancers and will dance with Mattia.
Finally, it is also worth mentioning the new furious quarrel between Lorella Cuccarini and Rudy Zerbi. For Zerbi, given the real talents that have emerged, the program has awarded again far too many shirts for the evening, but her polemic, however correct (from some points of view), did not fail to unleash Cuccarini's wrath.
We'll see if, in the next edition, the production will decide or not to listen to the Zerbi's criticisms.
