News in Naples regarding the transport situation, in fact, the 6 line of the Metro will arrive up to Posillipo and Bagnoli. Just in these days, the Municipality of Naples has published the tender to entrust the new project that will concern its construction and safety.
In particular, the administration has identified two sections that are Campegna – Nisida e Campegna – Posillipo. But let's see the various details.
Where the station of line 6 will be located in Posillipo
The new line 6 subway station in Posillipo will be located in the existing cavities, especially in the back of San Luigi square. Consequently, no works will have to be carried out that will impact on the square and on the road system of Posillipo. The project also includes an elevator that will allow direct connection with Via Petrarca.
The project, developed about a year ago, is financed through the Fund for the feasibility planning of infrastructures and priority settlements for the development of the country, with a value of 2.300.000,00 euro and through the Development and Cohesion Fund 2021-2017 with an amount of 5.000.000,00.
In short, a challenging project that we hope will be realized as soon as possible.
