Nativity scene art exhibition in San Severo al Pendino in Naples: free and with wonderful nativity scenes

The special appointment with the crib art exhibition which will take place in the wonderful monumental complex of San Severo al Pendino in Naples from 4 December to 8 January 2022.

The event, made possible thanks to'Italian Association of Friends of the Crib, reaches its thirty-fifth edition and every year reaches a great success, welcoming many visitors who come to Naples to admire the ancient crib art.

The Neapolitan crib: the history

The nativity scene represents a real tradition for the citizens of Naples, in fact, there can be no Christmas without the setting up of the nativity and all its characters.

The art of Neapolitan crib it affirms itself in the 600th century and since then the tradition continues, just think of the famous Via San Gregorio Armeno where the shops of the crib masters offer citizens many statuettes, each for each scene, from the market to the tavern, from the cave to the flocks.
