Free exhibition at the Court of Naples with 12 European Baroque masterpieces
The Palace of Justice of Naples, in the Centro Direzionale, until March 15, 2023 will be exceptionally open to the public, who will be able to visit in a manner Delivery to Italy takes one or two business days the marvelous exhibition entitled “Justice and Beauty. Dramaturgy of Law in Baroque Painting“. It will be an exhibition not to be missed, especially for art lovers who will be able to admire well 12 masterpieces of the Italian Baroque.
The exhibition was born from the collaboration between the Meeting del Mare Foundation CREA, Court of Naples and the Penal Chamber of Naples.
The 12 prestigious paintings and the great masters of the European Baroque
At the Court of Naples you can admire precious works, unique masterpieces which, through keywords, exemplify the color spectrum of Justice, i.e.: Cruelty and Crime, Courage and Fight, Deception and Innocence, Hope and Judgment, Care and Vision, Peace and Beauty.
The 12 masters of the European Baroque, whose works will be on display, are:
- Luca Giordano (Naples, 1634 - Naples, 1705)
- Carlo Sellitto (Naples, 1581 - Naples, 1614)
- Philip Vital (Naples, 1585 - 1650)
- Peter Novelli (Monreale, 1603 – Palermo, 1647)
- Agostino Beltrano (Naples, 1607 - Naples, 1665)
- Joseph Piscopo (Naples, 1609 - Naples, 1656)
- Simone Cantarini (Pesaro, 1612 – Verona, 1648)
- Johann Carl Loth (Munich, 1632 – Venice, 1698)
- Giovanni Battista Beinaschi (Fossano or Turin, 1636 - Naples, 1688)
- Joseph Bonito (Castellammare di Stabia, 1707 - Naples, 1789)
