Even on the first Sunday of March you can visit the museums for free! Find out which sites in Naples participate in the initiative

The long-awaited appointment with #DomenicalMuseo, the initiative envisaged by the law that applies the Franceschini decree and which allows free admission to state cultural places of interest. L'1 March 2015 also in Naples you can take advantage of the opportunity to visit museums and archaeological areas of our city.

Specifically, the decree gives the possibility of not paying the ticket for all the museums, monuments, galleries, archaeological excavations, parks and monumental gardens of the State. This is an appointment that goes on since July 2014 and that, every month more, has seen the involvement of thousands of citizens and tourists.

For 8 months now, #DomenicalMuseo has ensured that there was an enormous influx of visitors in all the state places that adhere to the initiative, even registering record figures. In fact, from the statistics, it emerged that, throughout Campania, the Pompeii Excavations are among the most visited sites, along with the Royal Palace of Caserta, but also the Neapolitan locations are not far behind.

Surely, even for the March appointment it will attract many fans, but also newbies interested in discovering our immense artistic and cultural heritage.

As part of the initiative, some guided visits to museums and buildings in the city will also be organized, such as the one scheduled for National archeologic museum and those at Certosa di San Martino.
