On 4 December 2016 there will be free museums in Naples for the #Domenicalmuseo initiative!
The initiative #Domenicalmuseo the 4 December 2016 and provides, like every first Sunday of the month, thefree opening of state museums of all Italian cities, Napoli including.
For the moment it is only the state museums, as mentioned, that are free, even if for many months we have tried to ensure that even private ones, including foundations, buildings and other structures, can join in order to expand the offer for tourists and citizens. .
In fact, in every event, there are always thousands of visitors who come to monuments, museums, churches, gardens, historic houses parks e palaces to admire its beauty and works of art and deepen its history.
It will also be an opportunity to admire the Vermeer's masterpiece temporarily in Capodimonte and reopened Egyptian section at the Archaeological Museum.

Schedules at the Pompeii Excavations
At the excavations of Pompeii, free admission is regulated according to bands specific to ensure the orderly flow of visitors who are always a great many. There may also be special provisions regarding Excavations of Herculaneum e Boscoreale.
