even the Mother Museum of Naples has decided to join the European Heritage Days 2016 and for Saturday evening 24 September the entrance ticket will cost only 1 euro.
In fact, the initiative provides for an extraordinary opening of three hours beyond the ordinary hours for all museums, state and non-state, that participate, allowing the public to pay a symbolic amount to admire the works of art of the structures.
Saturday evening, therefore, from 20.00 am to 23.00 pm you will have the opportunity to visit the exhibitions set up at the Madre. Among the most important, we certainly mention the photographic exhibition by Mimmo Jodice, one of the most important contemporary photographers in the world. "Waiting for 1960-2016“, This is the title of the retrospective, it is an excursus on his career in the continuous search for new languages and testimony of everyday life and of life in the great metropolises in recent decades.
The exhibition "Milk moon“” By the French artist Camille Henrot who in 2013 won the Silver Lion as best young artist at the 55th Venice Biennale. It will also be possible to visit the project "To_form a collection" and theopera Axer / Désaxer by Daniel Buren, set up at the entrance to the Museum.
