Naples, 3 parking lots are coming: Chiaia, Vomero, Fuorigrotta

Good news for Neapolitan citizens who are less and less often able to find easily parcheggio for their own autoeven in the areas where they live. Precisely for this reason i parking lots private individuals they have higher and higher hourly but also monthly rates.

The municipal council of Naples has recently approved a proposal resolution to the City Council belonging to the Urban Parking Program (PUP) to continue the process that authorizes the creation of three new car parks. These car parks will provide a solution critical issues regarding car parking issues.

Mixed underground parking in Fuorigrotta

The first parking will be located in Via Cerlone, Fuorigrotta, and will be a mixed underground car park with 345 car seats. This car park will provide a solution to the parking needs of residents and visitors to the area.

Pertinent parking in Vomero

The second parking lot will be located in via De Ruggiero, Vomero, and will be an appurtenant parking with 272 garages. Vomero is probably among the areas most afflicted by the parking problem, so it will certainly help the residents of the neighborhood.

Rotating underground car park in Chiaia

The third parking lot will be located at Piazza VittoriaIn the neighborhood Chiaia, and will be a rotating underground car park with 246 car seats.

The new parking lots will be created and managed by private entities, at no cost to public pockets, in line with the Urban Plan for Sustainable Mobility (Pums) which provides for the inclusion of parking spaces proposed by private entities. It will then be the task of the City Council to update the PUP (Urban Parking Plan) for later sign agreements with private individuals and continue with the design process.
