Naples 4 Families is the project of the Municipality designed especially for children with cultural, gastronomic and recreational itineraries!
A new interesting project for Naples and its families has been developed by the municipal administration of Naples.
It is Naples 4 Families, made at no cost from the Communication, City Promotion and Marketing Office of the Municipality of Naples in collaboration with the Department of Tourism and aims to offer families towns, but also to those of tourists who visit our city, an extensive program of cultural activities, didactic e recreational that are, at the same time, unpublished and different from the usual.
To make the project a reality, too associations, private and public subjects, museums and cultural structures that have contributed by proposing activities and itineraries related to their field of expertise (food, literature, theater, art, nature, crafts).
Naples 4 Families
The project Naples 4 Families born to make families, especially children, experience new experiences that allow them to learn more about the city in which they live, or who visit tourists, becoming the protagonists of these experiences.
Through a series of cultural paths, artistic, historical and archaeological, food, film, music, landscaped, and also interactive and multimedia, will discover the traditions that make Naples unique in the world and will learn to enhance every element and corner of the city. Indeed, the project is implemented in the program of development of the tourist and cultural aspects of Naples.
The initiative is aimed at all types of families with children who have a maximum age of 14 years and that will be able to take advantage of a package of tourist and cultural offers in the months from January to April 2016.
Itineraries for children
There are many paths designed for children within the project, which can be consulted on Naples 4 Families website. The little ones can participate in music tours, theater and cinemas where they will learn the history of Naples, the integration between cultures, the importance of the "other", but also a educational projects in which they will become familiar with the concepts of environmental sustainability and development.
Moreover, they will be able to walk through the streets of the center to get to know the millennial culinary history of the city, with the many organized gastronomic tours. They will learn the art of pizza, how to cook some dishes thanks to the workshops designed by the Associations and the history of the classic dishes of our kitchen.
