A free book with 50 songs dedicated to our city thanks to the newspaper La Repubblica: here is "Naples, none and a hundred thousand".

After the great success of its first release on newsstands, the newspaper La Repubblica proposes the book entitled "Naples, none and a hundred thousand" which contains 50 songs dedicated to our city and which will be distributed free of charge together with the newspaper on 4 February 2021.

Already on January 28 the book had been inserted free with the newspaper, but the copies immediately sold out, so the idea of ​​reviving this beautiful initiative was born.

All short stories were written by authors between essayists, poets e writers contemporaries, both Italian and foreign, who speak to us and tell us about Naples, without ever falling into stereotypes.

Naples, none and a hundred thousand

The book is inspired by an already existing book, Dadapolis, written by Fabrizia Ramondino and Andreas Friedrich Müller, released more than 30 years ago and which contains, similarly to the current volume, many passages by writers who, over the years, have talked about Naples.

"Naples, none and a hundred thousand" was thought by collaboration of La Repubblica with theUniversity of Naples Federico II, the Eastern University and the Goethe and Cervantes Institutes. The preface is by Maurizio Molinari, director of Repubblica.
