Castel dell'Ovo in Naples, set up a Living Nativity

A fascinating Living Nativity Scene set up in Castel dell'Ovo with the participation of over 100 figures

Tomorrow night, Saturday 21 December 2013, at 19: 30 there will be a fascinating performance of the Living Nativity set up by Chamber of Commerce of Naples in collaboration with the Curia.

The location chosen for the setting is this splendid Living Nativity is, also this year, Castel dell'Ovo, Where over 100 figurants they will be dressed in typical 18th century costumes. The actors who will take part in the performance are the young actors of the Totò theater in Naples and the members of the community of the parish of Regina Paradiso.

Il Living Nativity of Castel dell'Ovo will be directed by Diego Sanchez, the sets will reproduce scenes of Neapolitan popular life, created by Antonio Manco, the costumes will be by Maria Pennacchio and the music by Dino de Angelis.

They will also be present at the inauguration performance scheduled for tomorrow at 19:30 cardinal Crescenzio Sepe and the president of the Chamber of Commerce of Naples, Maurizio Maddaloni.

The event is part of the review At Christmas we are all better, organized by the Neapolitan chamber of commerce for the Christmas holidays, with the aim of promoting tourism and business activities in the Naples metropolitan area.

The cycle of representations of the Living Nativity of Castel dell'Ovo will also be held next weekend, the 28 and 29 December 2013 from the 17 to the 21.
