The white night in Ercolano with numerous activities at MAV and in the streets
Il 16 December 2016 will host the White night of Ercolano, an event organized by the Municipality in collaboration with the MAV, Virtual Archaeological Museum.
The program will be full of events, with shows, workshops, music, tastings, Christmas activities, dance and projections of virutal reality.
The pedestrian area made available goes from via IV Novembre, corner C.so Italia, to corner 1st street of the market. Visitors will be able to park their cars at the 1st Circle “G. Rodino ”Scotellaro-Iovino School, at the 1st crossroads of via IV Novembre on the right, at the Villa Favorita near Corso Resina and at the Excavations of Via Alveo.
For those who prefer the shuttle service for a fee they can take the vehicle from the parking lot of Villa Favorita and from the excavations for only € 0,50.
White Night program in Ercolano
From 20: 00 22 to: 00
- On the streets of the center will be held the "Merry Christmas Parade" by the Compagnia degli Sbuffi.
- In via Pugliano there will be a folk show with tammurriate, pizziche, tarantelle and traditional songs, organized by the Perla Etnica Association of Herculaneum and the fashion show "Fashion, taste and design traveling at the foot of Vesuvius" by the students of the Ditta Institutes, Tilgher and Cesaro-Vesevus.
- In Via IV Novembre there will be a hip hop performance by Work in Progress.
- In Corso Italia and piazza Trieste there will be a gospel concert, organized by the Friends for Gospel Association of Salerno.
At 18: 00
- Presentation of the book "The game trap" by Nicola Oddati. The author, the mayor Ciro Buonajuto, the president of the MAV Ciro Cacciola, the Mattino journalist Adolfo Pappalardo and then Cristina Donadio and Marco Zurzolo will participate. A cocktail will follow
- Laboratory activities for children
- Tastings, handicrafts exhibition, art shop at the Space Gallery

Dance show by Fit & Dance at the Auditorium

At the Auditorium “Una cosa 'mpruvvisata”, a show organized by the Department of Social Policies of the Administration for the over 60s, with Susy Mennella and Rosaria De Cicco, Gianluigi Esposito and Marco Zurzolo, by Cabiria Production.

In the Video Room of the MAV will be projected Oculus night: the Herculaneum Excavations in Virtual Reality
