The characteristic Notte delle Lampare 2015 returns to Cetara with events and tastings
The Pro loco of Cetara, a charming town on the Amalfi coast, has organized for the 18 July 2015 The Night of the Lamparas, the event that recalls the tradition of the ancient technique of anchovy fishing with lamparas.
The lamps are special lamps mounted on fishing boats to illuminate the sea and attract the fish, which once caught near the light source, are captured by the nets. The famous is produced in Cetara "Anchovy", used as a condiment to enhance the flavors of dishes, even by starred chefs.
The evening's program will begin at 20.00 with the departure of boats and ferries from the pier followed by fishing trip with the lights off Cetara. After the return, there will be the lighting of the bay of Cetara with the lights, of the tastings organized by local restaurateurs and the exposure of the stand with typical products. Moreover, to accompany the event, there will also be the Neapolitan classical music of the group "unauthorized car parkers".

- Departure of the Sacred Heart fishing boat with the lights for the anchovy fishing.
- Departure of the ferries to watch the fishing trip off Cetara.
