Educational tours at the Madre Museum for Easter Week dedicated to Lucio Amelio, the famous Neapolitan gallery owner of contemporary art
Easter holidays can be a special occasion to visit Lucio Amelio exhibition at the Madre Museum of Naples, in the last week dedicated to the famous Neapolitan gallery owner of the 60s.
The museum will propose, 30 from March to April 6 2015, a rich program of activities that will accompany visitors to the exhibition Lucio Amelio. From the Modern Art Agency to the genesis of Terrae Motus (1965-1982). Documents, works, a story ..., that will allow you to get to know one of the undisputed protagonists of world contemporary art, capable of transforming Naples into one of the most active creative hubs from the 60s to the 80s.
Six appointments still in the calendar for the Easter week, with special free guided tours for adults and children to be held also on Easter and Easter Monday.

But love ...
Free educational visit to the exhibition
Through the stories, the readings and the actions proposed along the exhibition accompanied by the notes of the songs interpreted by Amelio, who in 1990 recorded a record of 50s songs entitled "But love no". To discover the story of Amelio and the many artists, collaborators and fellow travelers who shared with him the love for art and for the city of Naples.

Letters to Lucio Amelio
Free educational visit to the exhibition
Visit-reading with a selection of some of the letters and documents on show: from the letters dated between the 1967 and the 1968 that document the relationship between the gallery owner and Lucio Fontana, up to the collection of letters addressed to Lucio Amelio in which the artist James Lee Byars he writes about a project for Palazzo Reale in Naples.

Free educational visit for adults
On the occasion of the last opening day of the exhibition, you will be able to participate in an educational visit with a "social" path during which, assisted by educational operators, visitors, equipped with smartphones and tablets, will be able to share with the hashtag #Digita_Lucio ideas, interpretations and proposals, in a series of tweets that the museum will gather to give life to a shared 2.0 story of the exhibition.
