Il British Museum for this reason, he decided to produce a documentary that illustrates the latest 24 hours of daily life in these two cities, transporting the spectators in a very accurate historical reconstruction of the habits of the time, between the animated streets of Pompeii and Herculaneum, between the shops and the shops, the costumes and the free time of the inhabitants of 2000 years ago. An unprecedented testimony that portrays a very faithful "photograph" of the serenity that characterized the humanity of these places, until a few moments before the eruption of Vesuvius which upset, destroyed and completely annihilated these two towns.

Despite the success achieved across the Channel, the documentary Life and death in Pompeii and Herculaneum he created in Italy lots of controversy related to our lack of ability to keep and promote a treasure of global significance, which is instead valued abroad, until it is transformed into something that no longer seems to belong to us.
