After the success of the first edition returns the Pompeii Festival 2015At the 'ancient Roman amphitheater located in the famous archaeological area.
The musical review will start on 27 May 2015 and will run through the summer until 4 October 2015, with a calendar full of events.
A perfect stage for the extraordinary initiative, testimony of the "inventiveness, intelligence, passion for art, for poetry, for music, for the spectacle of the ancient Pompeians"As stated by the artistic director, Alberto Veronesi.
On the program, three popular masterpieces, the Traviata, the Tosca and the Nabucco, three ballets, the Giselle, the Swan Lake and the Carmen Suite. News of the second edition will be a special tribute to China through two oriental works and "The Last Day of Pompeii" masterpiece signed by Giovanni Pacini.
Everything will be staged in the unique atmosphere of the excavations and the sound of artists of national and international fame accompanied by the talents of young people in the sector.
