In Cercola the Sagra del Pomodorino of the Piennolo del Vesuvio returns with special guests and typical products of the territory!
Campania is not poor in delicacies for the palate and one of these is the Piennolo Tomato, typical of the Vesuvian area. The well-known variety, which in 2009 obtained the official name DOP (of protected origin), will be celebrated precisely in the Festival of the Piennolo Tomato of Vesuvius.
The event, now in its seventh edition, will be held in Cercola the 16 and 17 July 2016. Many gastronomic stands will introduce this ancient species to the public tomato and other local products.
Tastings will be accompanied by shows and music: the 16 July will be guests at the festival the speaker and songwriter Luca Sepe and Neapolisound, while the 17 will go up on stage Mariano Bruno, di Made in South, and 7 Mouths.
Recall that theadmission is free and there will be a large area to park.
