In the enchanting setting ofIrpinia, precisely on the heights of Trevico (AV), the seventh edition of the renowned event will take place on 4 November 2023 Chestnut and Potato Festival. This event, located at the highest point in Campania, highlights two products traditional agri-food recognized nationally for their quality and tradition.
What you eat at the festival (complete menu)
The Trevico Festival is a true paradise for lovers of good food. Participants will have the opportunity to enjoy a complete menu which pays homage to chestnuts and potatoes, awarded the title of Foodstuffs. Among the delicacies offered are the fried Trevicano pork, the exclusive cave ham, and the caciocavallo hanged. There will be dishes such as wild boar stew ei autumn sweets, all accompanied by selected wines from the Campania region.
Shows and other activities
The beating heart of the festival beats along the streets of Old Town starting from 15.30pm, where visitors will be involved in a festive atmosphere thanks to music Folk and the performances of buskers. The event offers a unique cultural and food and wine experience, celebrating the richness and vitality of local tradition.
