Tradition, tastings and entertainment at the highly anticipated 2017 potato festival in Agerola!
The 14 August 2017 returns the festival Gusta la potato in the charming village of Santa Maria in the Pianillo district of Agerola.
The gastronomic event is a moment of conviviality to celebrate this precious tuber, the potato, grown without any chemical treatment and used in various delicious dishes of ancient recipes that we will be able to taste during the event.
The festival takes place as part of religious celebrations of the village, which will be held the 15 August, in honor of Maria Santissima Assunta, whose beautiful wooden statue is kept in the medieval church of Santa Maria La Manna that with its bell tower overlooking the valley of Agerola.

An inviting menu will be offered to visitors. Here are the courses of your choice:
Appetizer:
- antipasto del Borgo with croutons of Agerola
Pastas:
- tubettoni with potatoes, shrimps, tomatoes and smoked Agerola provola cheese
- gnocchi del casaro
According to dishes:
- pork loin with baked potatoes and agerola bread
Sweet:
- bomb of the pastry chef with chocolate and traditional bunch of grapes
Drinks:
- two glasses of wine or bottle of water (50 cl)

- 20.00 pm: opening of the room and tasting of the menu of the XNUMXth edition of "TASTE LA POTATA"
- 22.00 Hours: Franco Ricciardi in concert blue tour (free admission)
Tuesday 15 August 2017 - Celebrations in honor of Maria SS Assunta
- 20.30 Hours: sausage in the square with sausage and chips, wine or water and sweet of the village.
- 21.00 pm: orchestra "In the blue painted blue", musical show
