Sixth edition for the festival "A Patan 'e Nott" in San Vitaliano: let's celebrate his majesty the potato
Saturday July 6 2019 the sixth edition of the festival will take place in San Vitaliano (in the Metropolitan City of Naples) "A patan 'e noct", dedicated to the queen of the Nolan countryside, the potato.
A San Vitaliano you can enjoy it in many ways: fried, salad, parmigiana. Each recipe is designed to enhance its fragrance and flavor.
The tuber celebration will take place in Piazza Leonardo Da Vinci starting from 21,00. Potato, but not only: there will also be music, shows and lots of delicacies all based on potatoes, a typical product of excellence in the Nola region.
As every year, the organization is due to the Populorum Progressio Onlus association, in collaboration with the Pro loco di San Vitaliano, the local Catholic Action and the Unitas Onlus association.
The event also benefits from the patronage of the Municipality of San Vitaliano and the Media Partnership of the online magazine Terre di Campania.
Also this year the proceeds of the festival will be destined to "Auschwitz and Birkneau memorial”And delivered during the annual trip to Poland to be held in January 2020. Thanks to the previous editions of "'A Patane' e Notte", and to other initiatives, up to now around 7 euros have been donated to the museum.
