After a break three years due to the pandemic, the 2023 edition of the famous festival is ready to welcome participants again. The event will take place on 10 and 11 June 2023 at the Anselmi Institute of Marigliano.
La “Gnocco Festival in Pignatiello”, a culinary charity event that originated at the Institute Anselmi of Marigliano (NA) in the distant 2010, is preparing to celebrate its eleventh edition. This charitable event, which aims to improve the lives of children and young people in Colombia, has become a symbol of solidarity and fraternity.

- 9 hours: 30: SS. Mass in the courtyard of the Anselmi Institute
- 13 hours: 00 Dumpling for lunch
- 19 hours: 30 Opening of food and exhibition stands
- 21 hours: 00 Entertainment we sing and dance with Jose and Jenny Sax
How the festival was born
Under the guidance of Mrs. Carmela Monda, and with the support of volunteers, the Festival of Gnocco in Pignatiello was born to support the work of the Missionaries of Divine Redemption led by Father Arturo D'Onofrio. The aim of the project was the construction of a study center in Neiva, Colombia. This initiative has allowed, year after year, to raise sufficient funds to complete the entire school structure, which was inaugurated in 2014.
The success of Festival of Gnocco in Pignatiello it is based on the tireless work of volunteers, whose dedication is driven by the will to overcome difficulties and to help those who are less fortunate. The realization of new projects is not an easy task, but the common commitment and the ideal of solidarity fuel the initiative.
