Along via dell'Epomeo, in the Soccavo district of Naples, there will be the colorful Franciscan festival with good food, DJ sets and shows!
Saturday June 10 2017 will take place in Soccavo, to be precise in via dell'Epomeo, Franciscan Feast organized by the parish of Santa Maria Montevergine under the patronage of the Municipality of Naples.
For the occasion, the whole Via Epomeo will be pedestrianized and closed to traffic from the roundabout of via Giustiniano to the cross of Via Servio Tullio, enriching itself with stands, volunteers, colors, smells and flavors to revive the new edition of this festival that in the spring-summer period is timely to entertain all the participants.
Program of the Franciscan Festival
Throughout the evening, the sponsor, that is Parish, the Secular Franciscan Order, the Franciscan Youth and the Araldini of the Fraternity of Naples-Soccavo, will set up the numerous stalls where to taste exquisite gastronomic products and they will organize recreational-recreational events. Furthermore, there will be a show on a stage on which many guests will alternate and, directly from Radio Kiss Kiss Naples, there will be Rosario Verde, in art Sasamen.
For musical entertainment there will be the dj set of Dario Accietto and the Giuliart Academy of Dance and the "Happy Pagliaccio" will also participate.
The Franciscan Festival and charity
Il proceeds will go entirely to charity to support research activities and help children in need. Specifically, it will serve:
- to finance the holiday "A hand for a smile", organized by the Regional Fraternity of Campania - Basilicata for children in situations of poverty, material and social
- to support genetic research
- to help the populations hit by the earthquake in Central Italy
- for the parish Caritas
- for the construction of infrastructure in Africa
- support Emergency
