In Casapulla, Caserta, we celebrate the traditional king sausage festival with many traditional recipes and entertainment
Music, shows and lots of good food will enliven the evenings of the 15 and 16 September 2018 on the occasion of the Sausage Festival of the King a Casapulla, in the Caserta area. The event, referring to a local legend about King Ferdinand IV of Bourbon, celebrates the sausage whose preparation follows an ancient recipe that has been handed down from generation to generation.
The episode at the center of this legend he wants the King Ferdinand, not finding among the products of the area anything that would do for him, he himself began to invent recipes, until he obtained this sausage which he then defined "worthy of a king". Thus was born the sausage that can be tasted during this festival and that can be tasted together with craft beer White Tree Craft Beer which will be present at the event with its stands.
In addition to the food stands, space will be given to Campania craftsmanship with the typical musical instruments of the region such as tammorre, damselfish, triccheballacche and tambourines. The little ones can have fun with the games of the past, while adults are expected to be concerts for both evenings with the Artesi & Ladies and the musical show by Carlo Faiello, “Argiento vivo”.
