Chestnut Festival
In Sommana the chestnut festival will take place with many dishes to taste, but also a preview of Halloween. In fact, the guest of honor will be there pumpkin from 485 kg, made by the Cannavina farm of Raffaele Pendolino in Dragoni, and many other small themed products made by local artisans. There will also be mini-snails from Masseria Picone di Castel Campagnano, but the real protagonist will be the chestnut.
The 17 October, at the 20.00 there will be the medieval parade with the historical parade of the groups "Castrum Thorae, Marzani et Mignani", the musicians and the sandieratori di Fontanafredda and at 21.30 the Giostra del Saracino.

Wild boar and chestnut festival
In the province of Avellino, a tasty festival that combines the goodness of the boar and the exquisiteness of chestnuts.
