For everyone on the weekend of October the famous chestnut and porcini mushroom festival is held in Roccamonfina, which this year reaches its 42nd edition. The next appointments are for 13 and 14, 20 and 21, 27 and 28 October 2018. Many specialties and menus planned for this edition together with the music and entertainment that this event never fails.

Al Borgo Castello of Cervinara, in the province of Avellino, takes place the Chestnut Festival with many tastings, handicraft, excursions, guided tours and conferences.

You can taste many dishes prepared with sastagne, but also have fun with the music of popular and popular bands tammorre. Furthermore, among the secular chestnut woods they can be beautiful excursions e trekking.
