A weekend full of taste and fun with the best festivals in Campania including fried pizzas, peasant dishes and wine!
With the end of the month of May festivals they do not abandon us and the tastier ones of the Campania they are truly indispensable. On the weekend of 27, 28 and 29 may 2016 we can lick our whiskers both in Naples and in other municipalities of the region.
In the Salerno area, the festival of the maracucciata, an original peasant dish that is eaten only in the area of Lentiscosa, accompanied by other local dishes. In Cusano Mutri, however, we can delight our eyes with the beautiful infiorata that will cover every place in the municipality.
In Naples, interesting are the tastings of Campania products with the frame of the Museum of Pietrarsa, while on the waterfront of Bagnoli we can fill up with fried pizzas on a charming terrace overlooking the sea.

Infiorata Cusano Mutri
The awaited appointment with the colored infiorata of Cusano Mutri which, every year, fascinates hundreds of visitors. The municipality will be decorated with important works of art infioratory masters and all the streets, pizzas and churches will be decorated with imagination and originality. Everything will leave your eyes open!

Sagra della maracucciata
The Cultural Association Lentiscosane Traditions organizes again the festival of maracucciata. It is part of the ninth edition of Le Vie del Gusto and will take place in the historic center of Lentiscosa, in the municipality of Camerota in the province of Salerno. Of course, we will eat the typical maracucciata, dish of Cilento based on maracuoccio, a legume similar to a pea, and prepared with sale, oil, onion e croutons. You will also taste other typical dishes of the place and will dance with the folk music.

Fried pizzas at Villa Medusa
In the Villa Medusa Occupied of Bagnoli, destined to social activities and aggregation, there will be an evening dedicated to the fried pizzas on the splendid terrace overlooking the sea. The menu will include various types of pizzas and you can have fun with the music of the Dj set set up for the occasion.

Galluccian gastronomic festival
In San Clemente di Galluccio, province of Casera, there will be a tasty festival where you can eat local homemade dishes. The menu will include homemade gnocchi prepared by hand, peasant embers (skewers of sheep, pork and more), deviled chicken, fried typical and excellent galluccio wine, as well as other dishes. Throughout the evening there will also be a lot of entertainment.
The proceeds will be to finance the organization of the celebrations in honor of Sant'Antonio Abate.

Tastings at the Pietrarsa Museum
In the suggestive Railway Museum of Pietrarsa two afternoons dedicated to the tastings of Campania products, surrounded by the historic carriages preserved in the structure. There will also be one artisan-artistic exhibition and some recreational and recreational activities for children.
