La Superintendence of Archeology, Fine Arts and Landscape di Napoli set up for days June 26 and 27, 2021 a special opening of thearchaeological area of Carminiello ai Mannesi which is located in via Duomo, right in the heart of the historic city center.
Specials will be organized Free guided tours which you absolutely cannot miss, also because the excavations are normally closed and therefore thanks to the volunteers of the Neapolitan Archaeological Group you can go to the discovery of this part of the city.
Excavations of Carminiello ai Mannesi in Naples
The excavations of Carminiello ai Mannesi in Naples, the archaeological area located in Via Duomo and near Forcella, for many years they have been abandoned and in fact only recently have they been retrained with interventions that have allowed the rearrangement and cleaning of the infesting vegetation.
Thanks to the free guided tours organized for June 26 and 27, you can admire the Roman remains of a large building complex of the imperial age with a thermal plant and a sanctuary dedicated to the god Aim.
Admission is free and the reservation is mandatory.
