Un wind of renewal is about to blow on schools and nursery schools in the municipal area. Thanks to National Recovery and Resilience Plan, a massive investment is on the way to breathe new life into these important training venues.

The news of the work on schools
The announcement was made in style, with an event attended by a parterre de roi of the political and institutional world.
Among the faces present we find the Mayor Gaetano Manfredi and the municipal councilor for education Maura Striano, just to name a few. The location chosen for the occasion was the historic Church of San Severo al Pendino, a context that added a touch of solemnity to the event.

How much is the financing?
We are talking about important figures: the total investment is approximately 95 million euro. Of these, 83,5 million come from the Ministry of Education, while others 11 million were allocated by the Ministry of Economy and Finance. In short, a nice nest egg to do big things.
The planning of the works and the involvement of local citizens
This is not a project imposed from above. Meetings were organized in the ten municipalities involved for involve the local community in the decision-making process. And for the little ones?
During the works, they will be hosted in 19 alternative facilities, thanks to a plan financed with 3,5 million euros.
The timing of the redevelopment works of the institutes
The machine is already running and the aim is to complete all the work by June 2026. So, in three years, delays permitting, students will be able to enjoy completely renovated and safe facilities.
