Music, art, theater and gastronomy at the free festival 2017 Mediterranean Paths in Summonte with Enzo Avitabile!
From the 14 17 2017 September go back to Summerhill, village in the province of Avellino, the Festival Mediterranean Trails with the artistic direction of the master Enzo Avitabilecomposer, musicologist, singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Neapolitan.
The event is a search for musical languages and contaminationand of different genres such as ethnic music and folk traditions, gnawa and tuareg sounds, devotional songs and folk music.
Among the guests there will be the singer and actress Lina Sastri, the musician Aziz Sahmaoui with the band University of Gnawa, the deseret blues of Bombino from Niger, the musician and poet Antonio Infantino, the Calabrian storyteller and performer Peppe Voltarelli, the Roman singer-songwriter Marco Greco, the Lucanian group Renanera and the Malevera bands from Campania and Capere.
The review will also organize performances by street performers, jugglers, fire eaters, will be set up food and craft stands and workshops, meetings, historical re-enactments, mountain excursions, moments of art and entertainment will take place.
An event that, through the universal language of music and art, wants to educate towards tolerance towards others and encourage dialogue between cultures, but above all it is a hymn to life.
