This is a very special year, as we know, due to the Coronavirus pandemic that has hit the whole world, but the many initiatives that are put in place, in complete safety, even in our region, give us a lot of hope.
Precisely for this reason, thelighting the Christmas tree in Sorrento, a tradition that has been going on for a very long time, this year takes on a symbolic value even more important.
The message is that of hope and the great tree of Piazza Tasso, together with lights lit both in the Piazza and in Corso Italia, represent an omen for the years to come.
The ceremony was short and with few people, in compliance with the anti Covid-19 rules which provide for a mask and social distance, and introduced a novelty: the tricolor umbrellas.

In addition to Sorrento, a Christmas tree, this time in Piazza Bovio. Furthermore, the traditional and suggestive floating tree on Lake Miseno was placed again this year, by the traders of the area.
