With the arrival of the bathing season 2023 in Naples, a new page opens for sea lovers. From the 8nd June, in fact, it is possible to book access to the renowned free beaches of Posillipo. Here's how to do it.

These beaches offer access to the picturesque Donn'Anna beach (with 25 accesses each from Elena bathroom e Ideal bathroom) and to the serene beach of nuns (which allows 450 entries from Mermaids bathroom). The daily availability is 500 places, a significant increase over the previous year due to the restrictions imposed by covid19 pandemic.

In summary:

  • The beach of Donn'Anna allows access to 50 visitors per day: 25 from Elena bathroom and 25 from Ideal bathroom.
  • Nuns beach offers entry to 450 visitors per day via the Mermaids bathroom.

How do I book an entrance to the beaches of Posillipo?

The online booking procedure for access to the beaches has been designed to be simple and straightforward. Just access the site managed by City of Naples (freebeaches.it) to reserve your entrance for the next day. The inputs can be made using the services of the Lidos.

Il booking portal is available every day from 8: 00 to 23: 00, offering the possibility of programming one's own entry only and exclusively for the next day (there is no calendar). It is important to note that any user can make al maximum three bookings per week.

What are the rules for accessing the beaches of Posillipo?

Finally, 5% of the available seats are reserved for Protected categories (in accordance with law 69/1999) and elderly (over 70), who can access without having to book online.
