In the week from 7 to 11 November 2022 closures continue on the Naples ring road to allow for modernization works.
Action must be taken to optimize the safety on the street and for the energy situation, which is why closures have always been planned for several weeks, except on weekends.
The works take place in the night hours because there is less traffic and traffic problems are limited.
The section between Fuorigrotta and Italia 90 closed
When: from 22,00 on 7, 9 and 10 November to 6,00 on the following days | from 24,00 on 8 November 2022 to 6,00 on the following day and from 23,00 on 11 November 2022 to 6,00 on the following day |
closure: the “Fuorigrotta / Italia '90” motorway section (link road connecting via Agnano to the Astroni / Tangenziale) towards Pozzuoli and the “Fuorigrotta” exit towards Pozzuoli will be closed.
Mandatory exit: “Fuorigrotta” exit in the direction of Pozzuoli.
Alternative outputs: for those coming from the motorways we recommend the link road connecting via Agnano agli Astroni / Tangenziale “Italia '90” continuing along via Cintia, via Terracina, via Nuova Agnano, via Agnano agli Astroni. For those coming from ordinary roads, alternative entrance is recommended at the link road connecting via Agnano to the Astroni / “Italia '90” ring road.
Closed the section between Camaldoli and Arenella, towards Capodichino
When: from 23,00 pm on 7, 9, 10 and 11 November to 6,00 on the following days and from 24,00 on 8 November 2022 to 6,00 on the following day.
closure: the “Camaldoli / Arenella-Zona Ospedaliera” motorway section in the direction of the motorways and the “Camaldoli” exit in the direction of the motorways will be closed.

Alternative exit and entry: for those coming from Pozzuoli possible recommended entrance at the "Arenella" entrance junction with an alternative route in via Gabriele Jannelli, via Simone Martini, via Arenella, via Giotto, Piazza Medaglie D'Oro, via Giuseppe Orsi, via Giacinto Gigante, via Marino and Cotronei. For vehicles coming from ordinary roads, the recommended alternative entrance is “Arenella”.
The Corso Malta exit and entrance junction is closed
When: from 23,00 pm on 7 November to 6,00 am the following day
