La Campania conforms to the provisions of new Festivity Decree and then the start of the third doses after 10 months will open from 2022 January 4 and no more after 5.
Initially, as we recall, the third dose of the anti-Covid vaccine could be accessed after 6 months from the second injection, then the interval was reduced to 5 months, but currently with the new legislation you can receive the third dose directly after 4 months.
This is the so-called booster dose, the booster dose for increase immune protection against the Coronavirus.
Where to get the third dose
In order to have the administration of the third dose of the vaccine you can:
- go to pharmacy and request an appointment, if the pharmacy provides it, to be able to get vaccinated. On the Federfarma website the list of vaccination point pharmacies;
- go to a vaccination center;
- contact your own general practitioner to find out if you administer vaccines;
- in some cases you may receive one call via email or text message for a specific date and day, sent spontaneously by the ASL, but this does not change the fact that you can always present yourself freely even at other times precisely because booking is not necessary. So you don't have to worry or feel bound by the call.

To be able to get vaccinated, currently it is not mandatory to book through the Region's platform as it happened in the past. It is sufficient to go to the vaccination hub and queue or, as mentioned, contact the pharmacies or general practitioner and know their methods for any more precise appointments.
