Show Rock! 5 at the PAN of Naples

The appointment with Rock! 5 is back, this year with a special section dedicated to Pino Daniele!

From 6 June at 19 July 2015, il Palace of the Arts of Naples (PAN), will host "Rock! 5" the highly anticipated international exhibition on music and its languages.

The fifth edition of the kermesse, curated by Carmine Aymone and Michelangelo Iossa, will be divided into 4 exhibitions that will immerse visitors in an extraordinary journey through the history of music, through photographs, vinyls, posters and instruments.
Like every year, there will also be workshops, book presentations, CDs, meetings, thematic events, projections, demo / clinic.

The sections

PINE TREE! - The thousand colors of the Happy Lazarus

The absolute protagonist of the event will be the great Pino Daniele, to whom will be dedicated an entire section containing the exposure of some of his guitars, such as a Gibson Super 400 CES and one "Luis Panormo”And a totem containing the most beautiful songs signed by the famous singer-songwriter who died. In addition, there will be the Eko acoustics used for the photo session of her first single "Che Calore!" and the rare Fender ZAI - Zona Agricola Industriale n. 19 (in homage to his birthday, March 19, 1955).

Thanks to private collections, made available free of charge by collectors Vincenzo Calenda, Francesco De Martino, together with numerous other memorabilia, audio cassettes, CDs, newspaper articles, books, photo galleries and much more, we will be able to relive the history of our Man in blues.

Calenda and De Martino, together with Cristiano Betelli and the artists of the Ferrigno workshops have created one life-size sculpture by Pino Daniele.

Pink Floyd - Live at Pompeii: the exhibition

On show there will also be Live at Pompeii, an exceptional section dedicated to the historic concert of Pink Floyd, held in 1971 in the city of Vesuvius.

An exhibition that will be divided between the PAN and the Exhibition Halls of the Municipality of Pompeii. Pink Floyd will be told through unpublished images and stories that came to life during the recordings of the very famous Live at Pompeii. There gallery with some of the images is at the end of the article.
In the exhibition, 10 of the 30 unpublished images taken by Jacques Boumendil, director of photography for Maben's film. The other 20 will be in the twin exhibition, opened from the 9 in June to the 19 in July, in the Exhibition Halls of the Municipality of Pompeii).

The gem of the exhibition, connected to the section on Pino Daniele, concerns the presence of animated covers dedicated to the artist: some of his best-known albums will almost come to life, thanks to the work of Juan Betancourt, who will receive the Rock! Legend 2015 award. "My land","Pino Daniele"and "A whole story - Go mò - Live in Naples"Will be the three protagonists.

An artist of worldwide fame the latter, thanks to the realization of the covers of the discs belonging to the greatest sacred monsters of rock, as, to name a few, Pink Floyd, Metallica, Nirvana, Michael Jackson, Pearl Jam, AC / DC and many others.

Last but not least, the review will also have a part called "The sound of music: history of talking machines and radios" where the public can get to know closely audio equipment ancient and modern, as well as gadgets and objects related to different products and audio brands.
