Underground routes and exhibitions / itinerary will be the protagonists of guided tours to the Rione Terra!
From 25 October 2015 at 18 January 2016, every weekend (Saturday and Sunday), the archaeological area of Rione Terra of Pozzuoli will be the protagonist of "Between land and sea. At the origin of taste ", the underground archaeological route and the exhibition / itinerary dedicated to the ancient Puteoli.
The extraordinary initiative, organized by the Municipality of Pozzuoli and financed by the Campania Region, will immerse citizens and tourists in an exceptional way guided tour through the ancient Roman roads, where once intense commercial activities took place.
In particular, along the fascinating journey you can admire the historic buildings, now perfectly preserved, the grain stores, the shops and the tabernae, brought back to life thanks to effects, virtual guides, multimedia installations, virtual mapping and latest-generation technologies.
A true multisensory experience therefore, which will project back in time, about two thousand years ago, when those places were colored by the voices and stories of everyday life of the ancient citizens of Pozzuoli.
