Thanks to the project A train to Cumae, only one ticket will be paid for both the transport and the entrance to the archaeological site!

22 from May to October 30 2016 the initiative will be active A train for Cuma, during which every Sunday and public holidays, the company Trasparti Eav will connect the station of the line Circumflegrea from the Montesanto station to the Cuma and Torregaveta stations.

The the only ticket will be paid for transportation and a visit to the Archaeological Park of Cuma, which is an ancient town founded by the Greeks, located in the fertile territory of the Phlegraean Fields.
The itinerary includes a visit to the acropolis ofancient Cuma and to the Forest, characterized by typical Mediterranean vegetation, with the organization of nature walks, sensory trails and tastings of typical products.

The project aims at a cultural revitalization of the place and the development of transport. The inaugural race will be held on 15 May 2016.

If the public response is positive, the EAV might even think of a second form expanding the offer and the days.

Train timetable for Cuma

Six morning and six afternoon runs will be performed in the included time slot between the 9.43 and the 17.45, which they will employ 42 minutes about.

Rate: 5 euro per person
Reservations required at 848 800 288/06 39967050 from mobile phones and from abroad.
The booking service is active from Monday to Friday from 9.00 to 13.00 and from 14.00 to 17.00 and on Saturdays from 9.00 to 14.00.

Il Bosco and La duna in the Regional Forest of Cuma

Every Sunday there will be a program for visiting the Forest: nature walks, sensory trails and tastings of typical products.

In addition, until October a program of events to discover the whole area and its history.
