At the National Archaeological Museum of Naples comes the party of the book "Another Galaxy", the free book festival that this year recalls the writer Annamaria Ortese.
The 4 and 5 may 2018 al National Archaeological Museum of Naples the event will be held "Another galaxy", The festival of the book that arrives this year at its eighth edition and which includes the participation of Neapolitan authors who, between Friday and Saturday, will devote themselves to public readings inside and outside the museum.
Twenty years after the death of Annamaria Ortese, Another galaxy reminds her with one 'relay' public reading of his story "The Great Way": the 4 May from the 20.00, twenty writers will follow each other in reading the text on the staircase of the MANN. Subsequently, at the 21.30, in the Garden of the Camellias, there will be the reading of some pieces taken from "Nel cuore della notte" by Marco Rossari.
May 5 will be the turn of the event "Mann at the MANN", Organized in collaboration with the Goethe-Institut of Naples: at the Salone della Meridiana at 20.00 the writer Paolo Di Paolo will evoke the figure of Thomas Mann. Following, at the 21.00, the writer Valerio Massimo Manfredi will talk with the director of MANN, Paolo Giulierini, in the hall of the Plastics of Pompeii.
For the evenings of 4 and 5 in May there are also two spirit sessions within the walls of the Museum where the spirits of Virginia Woolf and that of David Foster Wallace will be evoked respectively.
