An evocative journey in a vintage train to the Pietrarsa Museum and the splendid Mediterranean Gardens for Christmas 2015!
Il Railway Museum of Pietrarsa, in addition to carrying out extraordinary openings for the 2015 Christmas period, has created a wonderful initiative to spend the holidays and live in person historic locomotives that conserves among its pavilions.
In the days 26 and 27 December 2015 and 3 and 6 January 2016, it will be possible to do one travel in a vintage train in the direction of the suggestive Mediterranean Gardens. On board the Centoporte, a 30s carriage pulled by the historic electric locomotive E626, we will start from Naples to reach Pietrarsa (and back) through the Gardens, a wonderful green space between the nineteenth-century pavilions completely renovated and transformed into a small botanical garden overlooking the Gulf of Naples.
In addition, the ticket includes a visit to the Railway Museum's train and locomotive collection. Tickets will be on sale at i Trenitalia channels from the December 22.
